Why is Prog For Peart Important?
Prog For Peart is a music festival set up in memory of the late great Neil Peart the drummer for Rush and to raise funds for the development of a promising treatment for Glioblastoma Multiforme, the form of brain cancer that took his life. It is the most virulent form of brain cancer and is fatal. Last year we were able to fund 25% of the costs of pre human trials and experiments at Nottingham Trent University via the Headcase Cancer Trust. We intend to continue to fund development of this research.
